  • Digital Recording Court proceedings are digitally recorded using CourtSmart technology. CourtSmart is used in approximately thirty courtrooms.
  • E-filing Kiosk There are electronic filing terminals at the DuPage County Clerk's Office or the Law Library.
  • Food There is a cafeteria located on the first floor and is open for breakfast and lunch 7:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. daily.
  • Free Parking There are two parking garages and a number of flat parking lots on the grounds, on either side of the courthouse facility and annex. A Pace bus stop exists on the north side of the county complex near the Health Department. There is a Metra stop in downtown Wheaton, approximately two miles away.

  • Language Access To ensure equal access to the courts for all persons with Limited English Proficiency, the 18th Judicial Circuit Court will provide court interpreters to facilitate the participation in court proceedings.
  • Law Library The library is located on the second floor at the south end of the DuPage County Judicial Center. It overlooks the pond which provides a great view year round. Work and reading areas are located by the windows allowing for natural reading light. There is seating available to over 40 persons. Each year upwards of 35,000-40,000 patrons use the library.

  • Mandatory Arbitration Program The Arbitration office is located on the third floor. The program is a deliberate effort on the part of the judiciary, bar and public to reduce the length and cost of litigation in Illinois. The program applies to all small claims jury proceedings and all civil cases seeking money damages exclusively greater than $10,000 and less than the jurisdictional limit approved for that particular circuit by the Illinois Supreme Court.

  • Waiting Room The Safe Harbor children's waiting room is located on the first floor, but is temporarily closed due to COVID-19 precautions.
